OUR VERY FIRST WALK!   

For most of us, history in school meant memorizing dry facts and endless dates—yawn. But discovering it for yourself? That’s a whole different thrill. And that’s exactly what we’re here for! 

Discover Calcutta’s cultural mosaic — Armenian, Chinese, Parsi, and Anglo-Indian influences woven into its alleys. This fully walking tour unveils the city’s cosmopolitan soul, with the occasional surprise… like a Parsi lunch. 

Trace the city’s colonial roots—from Job Charnock’s resting place to the heart of White Town. Explore iconic British-era architecture and end with a hearty brunch in the legendary lanes of Office Para. A walk that rekindles your love for Calcutta, all over again. 

OUR PERSONAL FAVOURITE.

A trail to track down Calcutta’s sharpest sleuth — Feluda, the true-blue Calcutta boy. Hop aboard our AC bus (sadly, Haripada Babu and the green Ambassador are on leave!) as we chase Feluda, Topshe, and Lalmohan Babu through the oli-goli of Kolikata. 

We visit legendary cabins immortalized in Bengali literature — where revolution brewed over tea, and food is still absurdly delicious (and absurdly cheap). Warning: Not for the faint of stomach—or those with weak willpower around good food! 

First it was horse-drawn, then it was steam for a brief period and finally electricity – what next? Trams have been an integral part of Calcutta, a recurring motiff in Bengali poems, novels and films. Time to experience the romance of the trams. 

OUR FAN FAVOURITE

Hidden among Kolkata’s thousands of theme-based Durga Pujas are the timeless traditions of the city’s Bonedi Baris. Here we explore the historic Thakur Dalans and Aatchalas of the Chatterjees, Ghoshes, Dattas, Sahas, Lahas, Daws, and more in the enchanting lanes of Oli-Goli-Kolkata. 

  Celebrating Diwali (Kali Pujo) a bit differently, spending the afternoon in witnessing the magnificent FANUSH UTSAV in the company of one of the ancient Bonedi Bari's of Calcutta. Be a part of the journey of those Magic Sky Lanterns or ফানুশ, as they are called. 

France, Portugal, Denmark, Holland—in a day!

No flights needed—just a bus ride along the Ganges. Discover the colonial footprints of Europe in Bengal’s river towns: Portuguese Bandel, Dutch Chinsurah, French Chandannagar, and Danish Serampore—each echoing stories of a bygone era. 

Explore forgotten tombs and fading memorials that honor Calcutta’s long-lost souls. This walk takes you to a lesser-known cemetery and its storied neighbours, uncovering hidden tales of bankers, sailors, soldiers, poets, Olympians, quiz masters—and a few prodigal sons. We’ll wrap up with an evening snack so good, even the dearly departed might rise for a bite.

Walk through the historic lanes of Sutanuti, tracing the footsteps of legends like Ramakrishna, Vivekananda, Girish Ghosh. Discover the birthplace of the Rosogolla, the cradle of Bengali theatre, and the legacy of a fearless Irish woman who fought for women’s rights. We’ll also hunt for the house where Rabindranath Tagore launched ‘Rakhibandhan’.

 Wander through Calcutta’s colonial heart, where churches echo with history and bakeries still serve age-old recipes. Discover how faith and flour shaped the city—from festive hymns to the iconic plum cake. With stories of missionaries, bakers, and Christmases past, this walk is a delicious blend of heritage and indulgence.
